Overview

The REDARC Smart Start SBI224D is a 24V microprocessor-controlled dual battery isolator designed for commercial vehicles and heavy-duty dual battery systems. It protects the start battery from excessive discharge while allowing the auxiliary battery to power non-essential loads.

Featuring dual sensing technology, the SBI224D enables the auxiliary battery to be charged from multiple sources, including a vehicle alternator, compatible solar panels, or an external AC battery charger. Once the auxiliary battery reaches 26.4V, the unit automatically charges the start battery.
