Overview

The REDARC Smart Start SBI24D is a 24V microprocessor-controlled dual battery isolator designed to manage dual battery systems in commercial vehicles and other 24V applications. It protects the start battery from excessive discharge while allowing the auxiliary battery to power non-essential loads.

Featuring dual sensing technology, the SBI24D enables the auxiliary battery to be charged from multiple sources, including a vehicle alternator, compatible solar panels, or an external charger. Once the auxiliary battery reaches 26.4V, the unit automatically charges the start battery.
