Overview

The REDARC Smart Start SBI12D is a 12V microprocessor-controlled dual battery isolator designed to manage dual battery systems in 4WDs, commercial vehicles, RVs, and other automotive applications. It protects the start battery from excessive discharge while allowing the auxiliary battery to power non-essential loads.

Featuring dual sensing technology, the SBI12D enables the auxiliary battery to be charged from multiple sources, including a vehicle alternator, compatible solar panels, or an external battery charger. Once the auxiliary battery reaches 13.2V, the unit automatically charges the start battery.
