Overview

It is built with 3.54 in thick Nordic spruce logs featuring four-way corner millings and double tongue-and-groove joints for wind and rain resistance. Nordic spruce grows slowly due to long, cold winters and short summers, producing tight annual rings that the manufacturer states make the wood hard and weather-resistant. Components are produced on computer-controlled machines for accurate fit.

Rubber seals on the doors and windows are designed to seal against wind and moisture, keep the doors and windows closing quietly, and help keep the interior insulated from outside temperature.
